In development for Android
Kin records every step, run, walk and ride, and puts the people you train with alongside you rather than behind a follower count. Your history stays on your phone.
All-day step counting, plus GPS-tracked runs, walks and rides with routes, splits, pace and elevation.
Weekly step challenges, groups, a shared feed, and a head-to-head with whoever pushes you hardest.
Daily and weekly targets, streaks, badges and milestones — the small reasons you go out on the day you would rather not.
An account is optional. Until you create one, nothing you record leaves the device — and your routes never do.
Most fitness apps treat your history as their asset. Kin keeps activities, routes, step history and goals in a database on your phone, and works fully without an account.
Signing in adds the parts that genuinely need other people: challenges, groups, the shared feed, messages and pairing. Only what is social by nature is uploaded. GPS routes are not part of that, and there is nowhere on the server to put them.
The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored, where, and how to have it deleted.
